Free Touch a Truck Event!

Free Touch a Truck Event!

Orlando, FL – The sixth annual Touch-a-Truck “wheel” roll back onto Knights Plaza at CFE Arena on Saturday, February 17 from 12pm to 3pm. Spectra, providers of Venue Management for CFE Arena, are hosting this free, interactive experience for kids of all ages during and after the UCF Men’s basketball game against SMU at 11am inside CFE Arena. Tickets for the UCF Men’s basketball game can be found here.

“Touch-a-Truck is continually one of our most popular events for young families and children, and one of our favorites to produce,” expressed Spectra’s Brian Hixenbaugh, General Manager of CFE Arena. “Synchronizing this event with the UCF Men’s basketball game will make a fun weekend for the whole family and we invite all guests to enjoy both.”

Touch-a-Truck is an interactive hands-on experience where children can learn about their favorite trucks and vehicles, honk their horns, and interact with the drivers. Featured vehicles at the event will include a fire truck, police vehicles, construction trucks, and garbage trucks, just to name a few.

This year at Touch-a-Truck there will be a “no honking” hour during the last hour of the event. This is for children and families who want to experience the event without any loud distractions. The “no honking” hour is from 2pm to 3pm.

There will be opportunities for kids, along with their families, to win prizes by visiting the CFE Arena tent in front on the venue. Knights Plaza, a shopping center equipped with different eateries, will be open for lunch, making it a fun outing for the whole family. For more information on eateries in Knights Plaza, visit www.KnightsPlaza.com.
