Meet Surfer Santa Claus, on vacation gear at Aquatica Orlando’s first time ever Christmas event. As you get into the holiday spirit, dont forget to stop by Aquatica Orlando and visit this special ticketed event Illuminate on selected nights after park hours.
The self guided tour starts with an amazing exhibit and collection of lanterns shaped like magical creatures and tropical birds and animals. You can ride a train into the wild adventure of magical lanterns and see the giraffes and Elephants and Lions illuminated in iridescent shades of light.
After the train ride kids can do some arts and crafts including some creative ornaments that they can take home and put on the Christmas tree or gist to a loved one. We crossed the magical Forrest with colorful lanterns in the shape of birds and lizards and even Florida flamingos!
We crossed the rainbow dots bridge and went into a magical creatures lake where wizards help you create a wish and turn it into the mermaid lake with a candle for it to become true. ( we got to keep the magical potion jar with our wish too)
As we walked leaving our candles of wishes on the mermaid lake, we smelled something sweet! It was a candyland of gummy bears and lollypops we needed to cross a rainbow tunnel to get there. And it was so deliciously beautiful. Smells like cotton candy and sugarplums on my head surrounded by Christmas music and candy lights.
After that we went back to a surfboard Christmas tree and a door with a wreath made out of flip flops! How creative was this! We spoke to some elves on shorts because they were on vacation and behind that door with the flip flops Christmas wreath decoration, was the highlight of the night. We met Surfer Santa Claus!!!
