Le Lambi Bistrot, Opens Near Disney. It Provides a Unique Caribbean Cuisine Experience / Home Cooked Feel

Le Lambi Bistrot, is a small eatery that serves classic Caribbean dishes located in the heart of Lake Buena Vista/Disney area inside Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet mall – LV Eatery hall. We had the opportunity to experience some of this food and be welcomed by owner Chef John who provided us with a great flavorful experience. The place is inside the food court adjacent to the La Buena Vista Mall.

As we walked in we could smell the delicious spices and fragrant flavors of the Caribbean cuisine. The food court is small and has somewhat of a privacy setting to seat and relax while eating. There are other food options there as well. When you walk into the pace Le Lambi stands out with its colorful ambiance and eye-catching set up. As a thumb rule we know that If you see a lot of people eating at a place it normally is very good. Le Lambi had a line of people waiting to be served and some to go orders on the wait as well. So if you are wondering what to eat wile on Disney, Universal or Seaworld Orlando Vacation, this is a great choice to step away from the dangerous chemicals in fast food chains. Everything is cooked to order and is fresh food that tastes like home made.

The menu is a variety of Haitian, Cuban, Dominican, Jamaican and Puerto Rican flavors all combined into perfection by Chef John who is the sole creator of this masterpiece of plate offerings. We tried fried Snapper with tostones which is fried plantain chips, and the sauce was so amazing we kept asking for more! The rice was cooked with an aromatic spice and coconut cream- the semi- sweet after taste kept my palate asking for another bite. We also tried the conch, which is the traditional Lambi and it was so delicious that even our picky 5-year-old ate it. The chicken and rice plate were also a great choice to pair with sweet plantains and the steamed vegetables.

The legumes are a favorite dish either for vegans or meat eaters since you can add some protein to it. This is a plus because the chef has prepared an array of vegan and vegetarian dishes that are tasty and hard to find on a regular basis at this vacation destination. You can also order drinks from the Caribbean including coconut water, or certain beers.

We invite you to get out of the confort zone and food chains and adventure to explore and try this place Le Lambi – It is far from the traditional tourist menu and is a way to sponsor a mom-and-pop business that has certainly a lot of potential to grow into a great business.

The restaurant is family owned and operated, founded by Chef John who started from humble beginning as a dishwasher to a cook, now a restaurant owner, serving from fried plantains to jerk-chicken, which are rich and fragrant, using authentic spices.

Chef John is on a mission to share the bold flavors of his heritage, Caribbean cuisine, with the world, especially an international audience that visits the Disney area.

Straight from the vibes of Cuba, Haiti and Jamaica, enjoy outdoor seating in the warmer months and colorful decor that feels like a vacation destination. The Caribbean jerk chicken and Cuban sandwich are staple items on the menu, offering plant-based and vegan options like island bruschetta and Haitian legume, mixed vegetables paired with white rice and black beans. This locale offers Cuban, Jamaican, Puerto Rican, Haitian and food from the Bahamas all in one place, for true Caribbean fusion.

Besides the wide selection of dishes on the menu, Le Lambi serves a variety of drinks and cocktails, each highlighting a different flavor or take on island culture. Whether you’re looking for something fruity and refreshing or strong and spicy, you’re sure to be surprised when sampling a delicious blend of Caribbean mixers. Among the standouts are Red Stripe, a beer from Jamaica, and Prestige, an aromatic beer from Haiti.

Chef John says, “People don’t have to be forced to choose one type of cuisine from a specific country. They can now eat in one place and have many different dishes from the Caribbean. I always had a passion for cooking and cuisine and started doing catering on the side on a smaller scale, and now own a Bistro with a full-blown commercial kitchen in order to serve the audience better, especially those visiting the Disney area from all over the globe.”
