Haunted House at Fantasy World Resort opens door to raise funds for Give Kids the World

Need a place to stay near your favorite theme parks but still unsure on which spooky surprises to turn to this season? Then you’re going to want to stay tuned for the Fantasy World Resort! My family and I had the opportunity to check out these fantastic villas just beyond the boundaries of our home. The Resort is located in Kissimmee, right in the middle of the highest attractions in the area. Let’s get a look into all that’s been planned for Halloween!

Due to COVID-19, the resort made the guests safety and health their number ONE priority. Each room is cleansed and sanitized then sealed before being ready for the next guests checking in. Social distancing is maintained as well as mask policies for the unvaccinated. As we walked into our stay, every room, door and crevice looked just as clean as a brand new home. Our villa was two stories, with rooms on the top floor and full kitchen plus dining table on the ground level. As soon as I walked upstairs, I wanted to crash into the pillows and stay there, but I couldn’t because there was so much more to explore!

We were received phenomenally well by the resort and they gave us a tour of this season’s Haunted House. The house was very different from the past years because now with the free-reign and awareness of the pandemic, the scare actors could truly reach their full level in the fright-factor. Even I, who laughed in the face of various costumed-ghouls, jumped in fright as we were being chased down the halls of the resort’s butcher-esk house.

To me it’s truly admirable that, for such an iconic tradition, even Fantasy World Resort gives back to its community with its festivity. A huge amount of detail was put into the house for being only above the activity center, and the resort has made the house free for all guests! Not only that, but with a small donation to give kids the world, even those not staying within the resort can stop by! We couldn’t help but go numerous times for the excitement, though we had to eventually head back down and check out all the other fun-themed events for Halloween.

In the pool area, there are events or games guests can participate in, plenty of which are spooky-themed for the participants. In the activity center, there’s a whole list of what’s planned for the October season and I’m glad to have been able to be part of the joy! The stay was memorable for the entire family therefore, no matter what, Fantasy World Resort is the absolute place to go if you’re looking for some local seasonal fun.
