World Finals Record Setting News- Monster Jam XX

Rain or shine, Monster Jam puts on a great show ! The trucks filled the stadium with adrenaline and excitement, on Mothers day weekend and even when it rained, the audience stayed to finish the show and see the World Finals win. The parade of trucks amused the little ones and the older ones couldn’t held their excitement.

Girls kicked some great big truck behinds having fun and did marvelous stunts staying on top of the game.

Our kudos to Linsey Read, Scooby Doo driver who did an outstanding performance that nobody else could beat! She was the only mom driver, showing all of us mothers rock on mothers day weekend it was well deserved her win.

Also Cynthia Gauthier, the driver of Monster Mutt Dalmatian did an amazing job encouraging girls to be all they want to be on the vertical jump , breaking a record and showing an altitude of 45.472 ft in the air! It looked surreal and unbelievable to see that beast truck fly!

Must see highlights and record-setting news coming out of the marque event of the year, Monster Jam World Finals XX at Camping World Stadium in Orlando:

  1. Linsey Read, a mother of three young girls, won the biggest prize in the sport and outlasted 19 of the top male and four of her fellow female athletes to become the first mom ever to win a Monster Jam World Finals championship in the event’s 20-year history. The El Paso, TX native became the second woman ever to take home the sport’s most coveted prize –  Scooby-Doo beat out 23 other Monster Jam athletes to win the prestigious 2019 Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle competition. This was Read’s first Monster Jam World Finals championship.
  2. Colton Eichelberger set a new World Record by jumping seven Monster Jam trucks during the encore.  This record-breaking stunt, traveling a total of 144 ft, is particularly newsworthy because Colton broke the record previously held by his father and 12-time Monster Jam World Finals Champion, Tom Meents. Here is Tom’s previous record-setting jump at MetLife Stadium in 2016.
  3. For the first time ever, Monster Jam World Finals included a High Jump competition where the 12,000 lb. Monster Mutt Dalmatian Ice truck, driven by Cynthia Gauthier, soared 45.472 ft in the air
